This blog was started as an online journal to document my trials and tribulations of being a dad and a runner (see About Me).

Somewhere along that journey, my passion for writing began to grow. I now enjoy it almost as much as running and parenting. That is not to say I’m any good at it. In fact, my writing skills are laughable compared to my running and parenting skills. And as any regular readers of my musings know, my running and parenting skills are beyond laughable.

Nevertheless, it is my blog and I can do whatever I want to!

So starting from February 2014, a fictional short story from the twisted mind of The Jogging Dad will be added to the post roster, and archived under the ‘Quick Fic’s‘ section of this website.

I hope you enjoy reading these short stories half as much as I enjoy writing them.
